Rehau doors and windows can now be specified and ordered to Secured by Design approval

Did you know that at Swift Home Improvements Ltd, our Rehau doors and windows can now be specified and ordered to Secured by Design, offering customers security and peace of mind.
This flagship initiative is celebrating its 20th anniversary and was launched by UK Police to support the principles of “designing out crime” by use of effective crime prevention and security standards for a range of applications.
Our Rehau products were assessed by UKAS approved test houses, commissioned to identify technical standards and evaluations which determine the competence of security products and their resistance to criminal attack.
These windows and doors were then awarded the Secured by Design certificate and are now recognised as ‘Police Preferred Specification’ products.

 

Research shows that Secured by Design can reduce burglary and car crime by 50% and criminal damage by 25%. It supports one of the Government’s key planning objectives - the creation of secure, quality places where people wish to live and work.
