Energy Rated Windows - BFRC Rating Scheme

Swift Home Improvements Ltd are now offering energy rated windows under the BFRC Rating Scheme

Homeowners and house builders are continually seeking to improve the energy efficiency of their homes. With a new awareness of carbon footprints and greenhouse gasses, our customers are requiring more environmentally friendly products and are now replacing windows with energy efficient frames and glazing.

The Window Energy Rating (WER) system under the BFRC rating scheme gives consumers a better understanding of how energy efficient windows can cut carbon emissions and reduce household bills.

It is now apparent that installers and fitters of windows must be able to offer their specifies a BFRC Rated window. With the introduction of Home Improvement Packs for all homes being sold, new house builds now requiring a CSH rating, plus new building regulations being introduced in 2010, the BFRC rating is fast becoming a ‘must have'.

At Swift Home Improvements Ltd we can now offer you a choice of 7 window schemes that are now BFRC Rated. These relate to the REHAU S706, REHAU Edge and the REHAU Vertical Slider systems, shown below as Classic, Contour and V/S respectively:-
